Top Scanner
RangeMetrics' TopScanner is optimised for measuring the height of foam blocks. TopScanner is a lower cost version of the BunScanner, utilizing a single laser head mounted above the foam block.
TopScanner collects, displays and transmits information in the same format as a BunScanner.
TopScanner is particularly useful at the front end of your converting shop. After your blocks have been cut to length and side-trimmed, TopScanner can measure the complete profile of the as-poured top and find the lowest point. This data can be passed to horizontal saws, such as Fecken-Kirfel's W22, to optimize the cutting program.
